The seasonal ice arena at Walker Area Community Center is home to the Walker Youth Hockey Ice Wolves. The community center is located at the top of the hill in Walker, Minnesota by the water towers and overlooks beautiful Leech Lake.
To get to the WACC Arena, turn off 371/200/Minnesota Avenue onto 2nd Street and follow the hill all the way to the top. At the T, turn left and you'll go right to the WACC.
The Walker Area Community Center is home to many other local organizations including The Walker Curling Club, Walker Just for Kix, Walker Tae Kwon Do, Walker Rotary, and the Leech Lake Area Boys & Girls Club.
The facilities at Walker Area Community Center include a seasonal ice arena, fitness center, gymnasium, concessions, kitchen, a large meeting room and a library. Available to our visitors for no cost are ample tables and chairs located throughout the hallways, a large comfortable sectional around a fireplace with big-screen TV and wireless Internet.
