The 9th Annual "Leave Your Putters at Home" golf tournament is fast approaching!
Save the date, Sunday May 21st at beautiful Tianna Country Club.
This is a huge fundraiser for Walker Youth Hockey Association, our local hockey organization, which not only benefits the youth hockey program, but this also benefits the Walker Area Community Center and the town itself by bringing in families from outside the area when we host 4 - 6 tournaments through the winter season.
Cost is $500.00 per team which includes golf, cart, all on course games, brunch and dinner for 4. Also included is a Hole Sponsor for your business or family. You will ...need to fill out the brochure and provide payment by May 1st to ensure your spot.
Hole sponsorship is also available (without golf) for $100.00.

The 2016-2017 Hockey Coupon Book will be available by October 1, 2016. The coupon book replaced the calendar this year, the coupon book does not contain a raffle ticket, but still has all the great coupons, plus many new valuable savings added, plus it is small and can easily be stored in a purse or vehicle so you always have your coupons with you!
This is a great opportunity that we give to our families as a way to "make back" money that would otherwise just be paid in fees. Each family in levels Squirt-Varsity (no matter the number of players) will be required to sell a minimum of 30 coupon books at $20 each. You will be required to leave a deposit check of $600 when you pick up your coupon books. You must sell all coupon books or purchase the remainder yourself. You cannot return any unsold coupon books. Buyout: $600
Because there is no longer a raffle ticket drawing at the end of December, you have much more time to sell your calendars as the coupons don't expire until September 1st, 2017. You have a whole year to sell!
Coaches are needed for both the boys and girls high school teams, if you are interested or know of someone that may be interested please contact John Schumacher.
