The 2016-2017 Hockey Coupon Book will be available by October 1, 2016. The coupon book replaced the calendar this year, the coupon book does not contain a raffle ticket, but still has all the great coupons, plus many new valuable savings added, plus it is small and can easily be stored in a purse or vehicle so you always have your coupons with you!
This is a great opportunity that we give to our families as a way to "make back" money that would otherwise just be paid in fees. Each family in levels Squirt-Varsity (no matter the number of players) will be required to sell a minimum of 30 coupon books at $20 each. You will be required to leave a deposit check of $600 when you pick up your coupon books. You must sell all coupon books or purchase the remainder yourself. You cannot return any unsold coupon books. Buyout: $600
Because there is no longer a raffle ticket drawing at the end of December, you have much more time to sell your calendars as the coupons don't expire until September 1st, 2017. You have a whole year to sell!
A pot of water on a stove reaches 211 degrees, you have only a pot of water. By adding one degree, you increase the tempt to 212 degrees, the boiling point of water, and now you have steam power, a force that can move mountains. By simply elevating one degree, there is no telling what you may accomplish and by everyone on your team elevating their game one degree, we can move mountains as a team.
Parents, players, coaches and fans you have the opportunity to nominate a player for the 2016 - 2017 season that you feel has elevated the one degree.
We are looking for that player who not only gives their all at practices and games, but exhibits a positive attitude, is a team player and helps out their team and the association.
Please send your nominations and short summary of why you feel this player should receive the 2016 - 2017 212 Degree Award to Gretchen at firstname.lastname@example.org by February 25th, 2017.
